All of us are currently in the same boat. We are finishing up school, preparing for interviews, talking to potential employers, and hopefully, receiving many job offers. But don’t get so excited about the job offer that you just accept whatever salary and benefits are offered to you. It is important to know your worth, know what you need, and engage in a conversation with the employer to get to an agreement you’re both happy with. In this workshop, we’re going to focus on how to successfully negotiate a job offer, hear from some people who have done it successfully in the past, and give you all some time to practice before we reconvene.
